The average British person saying their longest relationship lasted for 14.1 years, but they remained faithful to the provider of their current account number for 16.5 years, according to the Santander bank.
Nearly six in 10 people have been having the same current account for more than a decade, while 18 percent said they had been together with their bank for more than 30 years, said the survey.
Only 7 percent of those polled said they have moved their current account at least three times during the past 10 years.
People in the South East are the least likely to move their current accounts, and average people have been saving money at the same bank for 17.7 years. The place was followed by Wales and East Midlands, respectively, with a period of 17.6 years and 17.2 years.
Consumers in the North West are least likely to be loyal to their bank, but even the people there also have kept the same current account for about 15.3 years.
In all these areas, the average citizen with their bank relationship lasted longer than the longest relationship with their partner.
Helen Bierton, Head of Account in Santander, said, "Make a lot of people enjoyed a successful long-term relationship of any kind is more important than with bergonta couples."
